Not a web designer, but IT guy and my job is asking how to make their images look better on wordpress sites. Basically images that have text – be it PNG or JPEG (full resolution) – they look like garbage.

How would one get an image to look decent like a graph with text elements or a chart? Looking for something that isn’t heavy with CSS. Anyone have any best practices or tips?
